How much does a website cost in the UAE?
What each package includes, how paying from the UAE works, the five questions that decide a quote, choosing a .ae address and the UAE's data protection law.

A business website with Eloti Designs starts from AED 1,900. An online shop starts from AED 3,000, and a mobile app for Android and iPhone from AED 4,800. Website prices cover your domain and hosting for the first year. What you finally pay depends on what your project needs, and you see a written quote with that amount before any work begins.
Below you will find what each package gives you, the five questions that decide where your quote lands, and what you keep paying for once the website is live. Then come three things particular to the UAE: how payment works, the rules for a .ae address, and the federal law that covers the details people type into your contact form.
What each package gives you
Business website, from AED 1,900
For firms that want to look professional online and win more enquiries. It looks right on any screen, keeps call, chat and contact buttons within easy reach, is set up to be found on Google, and is simple for you to update yourself. Our website design page goes into more detail.
Online shop, from AED 3,000
For businesses ready to take orders day and night. Customers find products in seconds, pay through a card and PayPal checkout they can trust, and choose delivery or pickup, while you see all your orders in a single dashboard. Read more about our e-commerce websites.
Mobile app, from AED 4,800
For customers who want you a tap away. We build for Android and iPhone, publish on Google Play and the App Store, add notifications that bring people back, and connect the app to your website or portal. See mobile app development for how that works.
Whichever you choose, the website, the domain and the content belong to you, and you get full admin access. The UAE pricing page sets the three packages side by side.
Paying from the UAE
Everything starts with a written quote for your project, agreed before anyone starts work. You can pay by card or PayPal, whichever is easier for you. Prices are shown in dirhams and charged in US dollars; your written quote sets out the amount and the payment terms.
Our team works remotely, over video calls, email and WhatsApp, and we agree meeting times that suit your working day, whether you are in Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi. While the website takes shape you follow it on a private link, so you can comment as it develops rather than waiting for a final reveal.
Five questions that decide your quote
A starting price buys a well-built version of each package. Your own quote moves with the size of the job, and these questions shape it whoever builds your website.
How many pages do you need?
A consultancy with a home page, a services page and a contact page is a small project. A clinic group with a page for each specialist, or a property developer with a page for each building, is a much larger one. Each page needs a layout, words, pictures and testing on any screen. Write your page list down before you ask anyone for a price, so you compare like with like.
Will you sell online?
A shop needs products, prices, photos, delivery options and a checkout that works every time. A short range with one size per item is quick to set up. A large catalogue with sizes and colours for each item takes far longer to load and organise, so give us a rough count when you ask for a quote.
Which features go beyond the basics?
Online bookings for a salon or a car service centre, client portals, member areas, quote forms and links to the software you already use all add work. If your staff repeat the same task every day, a tool built around it may be worth a look; our web development page explains how we build portals and bookings.
Are your words and photos ready?
Content is the part people forget to plan for. If your text, logo and photos are ready, the project moves faster. If you need words written, products photographed or a new logo first, allow time and budget for it; branding is quoted for each project. Our checklist of what to prepare before a website project helps you gather it all.
Do you want an app as well?
An app is a separate build for Android and iPhone. It can share bookings, orders and accounts with your website, but it is priced on its own. If you are not sure which to start with, our guide to choosing a website, online shop or app walks through it.
What you pay once you are live
Your domain and hosting for the first year sit inside the website price. From the second year, renewal is AED 590 a year, so it is worth putting into next year's budget straight away.
Everything else after launch is your choice:
- Care. If you would rather not handle updates, backups and small changes yourself, a website care plan is quoted for your site.
- Search. Every business website is set up to be found on Google. Ongoing SEO is priced for each project.
- Marketing and branding. Also priced for each project, so you pay only for what you need.
- Growth. Add an online shop or an app when the business is ready for it.
Choosing a .ae address
Your first year of domain registration is included, so the real decision is which ending to use. Names ending in .ae are overseen by the .ae Domain Administration (aeDA), a department of TDRA, the UAE's regulator for telecoms and digital government. Its domain name policy divides the space into two kinds of name.
- yourname.ae sits directly under .ae. The policy treats it as unrestricted: any applicant may register one, and no supporting documents are needed beyond the general rules and the registrant warranties.
- yourname.co.ae is meant for commercial entities trading in the UAE. You need a valid UAE trade licence, a free zone licence, or a UAE trade mark (or an application for one). The name itself must match, shorten or be closely tied to your company name, trading name or trade mark, and only accredited registrars based in the country can register these restricted names.
Two more points from aeDA are worth knowing. A domain is a licence, not property: you hold the exclusive right to use the name for a set term of between one and five years at a time, and names go to the first eligible applicant. When a registrar sells a domain bundled with other services, aeDA expects the cost of the domain to be stated clearly. Because you own your domain with us, it is registered to you, and aeDA describes a domain as portable, so your website can move to another server if you ever need it to.
Your contact form and UAE data law
A contact form collects names, email addresses and phone numbers, and that is personal data. The UAE government describes Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021, known as the Personal Data Protection Law, as the federal framework for keeping it confidential, and says the law came into force on 2 January 2022.
In its summary on the official government portal, the law:
- applies when personal data is processed through electronic systems, wherever that processing happens;
- does not allow personal data to be processed without the owner's consent, apart from a small set of exceptions;
- lets people ask for wrong details to be corrected, and for processing of their data to be limited or stopped.
The same page names the UAE Data Office as the federal data regulator. For a website, the practical steps are simple: say on the form why you are asking for the details, ask only for what you need, keep the messages secure, and give people a clear way to ask you to correct their information. The page also notes that the DIFC has its own rules, DIFC Law No 5 of 2020, so a company set up there should check which law applies. This is general information rather than legal advice, so speak to a lawyer about your own situation.
Questions
Should a UAE business choose .ae or .com?
It depends on who you sell to. A .ae address tells visitors you trade in the UAE, while a .com suits a business selling across borders. You can register both and point one at the other; tell us which you want and it goes on your quote.
Can I start with a business website and add a shop later?
Yes. Start with what you need today, then add an online shop, an app or SEO whenever you are ready. Each addition gets its own written quote first.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. We work remotely over video calls, email and WhatsApp, with meeting times agreed to suit your working day, and you follow progress on a private link.
